She has been involved in literary work since childhood. She was the winner of various poetry competitions, published in the literary magazine "Dnipro", in the almanacs "Oksamytova Pora" (Velvet Season), "Zatyshok" (Сosiness) and others.
The first collection "Kroky" (Steps) was published at the end of 2023. The author had been planning to publish it for a long time.
The trigger for the military theme in Natalia Kuprasova's work was the full-scale illegal invasion of Ukraine by the occupiers.
A large number of her works are about war and hatred of the enemy. Little by little, lines about love, dreams, and hopes began to come to mind. The author very carefully shared them on her own Facebook page and found positive responses from caring connoisseurs.
"Unfortunately, there was a time when my family and I left the city of Mykolaiv. And there was a great longing for the city. For our native country, for our friends. And I started writing first about the war. About our native city, about our native Ukraine. Later, other directions appeared. And about love, of course. And about nature. And about love for our native land. And humorous works also appeared. And prose too," notes Natalia Kuprasova.
Sharing her personal experience with readers, the woman dreams of leaving only seeds of goodness and positivity in people's souls and hearts with her poems. Therefore, for a year and a half, she has been preparing a small surprise for admirers of her talent - material for the second collection.
"When Poetry Touches the Soul" was recently published by the Kharkiv publishing house "Pantheon. Literature and Art". The book has been printed in a small edition of 100 copies so far.
"It included the following chapters. About love, and about war. And philosophical reflections. And humorous ones. About nature, about love for one's native land," the author emphasizes.
Natalia is not stopping there. The author's immediate plans include starting to write something for children. The images of fairy-tale characters are already in development, says the talented resident of Mykolaiv.
On this day, Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sychov gave the audience the warmth of his heart and a good mood. He presented new songs and performed previously written songs based on the words of Natalia Kuprasova.
