The cultural and artistic association "Art-Spokusa" was happy to support the staff of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi in its desire to surprise citizens with new projects dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the institution.
On February 12, the art and exhibition events from the series "Seasons of the Year" started. The exhibition "Gentle February" opened here.
"We want everyone who visits our exhibition today to fall in love with this month. So that they, with the help of our artists from the city and the region, can see it from a different perspective. They saw it not just monochrome, but in all its beauty," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art Spokusa".
Six extremely talented artists from the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa" have joined the event. In total, viewers are able to enjoy fifteen works of art, created in the technique of painting and graphics. They will evoke their own personal associations and memories.
"And a lot of events are connected with February. Well, for example, there were times when in February the grass was like today. The grass was already green under the trees. And there were times when February passed, and we didn't feel that March had begun. And on the twentieth of March there were frosts of more than twenty degrees. There were also such things in our lives. Therefore, February is an expectation of spring, an expectation of warmth and rebirth," notes artist Oleksandr Rassolov.
The project will last until the end of the year. Through the prism of the talents of the participants of the creative association, the people of Mykolaiv will learn about the features of each calendar month of 2025.
Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sychov presented a good mood and the warmth of his heart to the guests of the exhibition. He presented to the audience his author's song "Artist" based on poems by Hanna Korol.
