Recently, one of such events took place at the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi, which is one of the organizers of Eco-Readings and the Eco-Decade.

 

The participants of the board eco-games session were members of the scientific research group "Young Ecologists" of the Mykolaiv Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center for Student Youth.

 

This is the second time when the members of the group are participating in the events of the Eco-Decade 2024. The library was pleased to offer them the ecological game "Web of Life", which recently arrived at the game library.

 

“This game is unique in that teams can independently create rules, which develops their creative abilities and ability to work together. The group members studied the topic of ecosystems for a whole semester, and this game became a logical conclusion to their studies,” said Inna Tymchenko, the group leader, associate professor, candidate of technical sciences at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

 

During the game, children learned more about the interconnectedness of living organisms in nature and the importance of each element in the ecosystem. Such interactive activities not only broaden their horizons, but also form the environmental consciousness of the modern generation.

 

Ecological boards are not only games, but also new skills and knowledge, awareness of the ecological component of a sustainable society, as well as a good mood and a relaxed atmosphere of communication.

 

The events of the XVII Mykolaiv City Open Ecological Readings "Let's Save for Posterity" were held with the support of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration and the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council.
