Often, unique people of multifaceted development live next to us. They manage to combine a bunch of activities at the same time and still find free time for creativity. “It has no time limits or profession,” says the famous Mykolaiv poet, teacher, and journalist Hanna Korol about her own poetry.
On December 12, on the occasion of her birthday, the celebrant invited colleagues, friends, and admirers of her literary talent to the Mykolaiv Regional Universal Scientific Library for a poetic and musical evening and the presentation of a new collection of poems "The Universe of Hope, Faith, and Love." It was published by the "Zhurfond" publishing house in Dnipro this year.
For the author, poetry is a vital necessity, which she compares to breathing and a sip of fresh water.
"And what gives us inspiration? Love gives us inspiration. Love for people, love for our country. Love in the manifestation of love. Love for our children, for our grandchildren. Love! God is love and the driving force. Love...", shares the celebrant.
"He gives me wings," - this is how Hanna Ivanovna says with a smile about the Honored Artist of Ukraine, poet and composer, volunteer Oleksandr Sychov. For many years, these two extremely talented people have maintained friendly relations and collaborated creatively.
"I am struck by her poetic universe, which coincides with my universe. The spiritual universe. Hanna Korol, patriotic Hanna Korol is a professional poetess. I believe that it is our duty to stick to the professional word, professional poetry. At this time, a difficult time for the state, it is very important to develop, to continue to develop the Ukrainian poetic path," emphasizes Oleksandr Sychov.
This time, they were united by their love of music and poetry. Throughout the evening, Mykolaiv groups and vocalists performed songs by Oleksandr Sychov to lyrics by Hanna Korol.
"I am very pleased. I am grateful to all the leaders for their steadfastness and work in the name of the development of Ukrainian culture," emphasizes the moderator of the evening.
The anniversary celebrant is convinced that a poet should constantly be on the information cutting-edge, the information front line. Especially when it comes to martial law in the country and the challenges associated with it. It is no coincidence that her tenth collection is full of literary works of the last few years. The author conventionally divided the book into two parts. The first one is with the telling title "With Ukraine in the Heart" includes patriotic lyrics. It is saturated with boundless faith in the Almighty, in the indomitable Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In every work there is not only the desire to win. And I give people Faith, the confidence that it will be like this from the first day of the war. From the first day," emphasizes Hanna Korol.
As soon as the war is over, Anna Ivanovna dreams of writing about people who have Ukraine in their hearts and souls. Its effective, energetic, happy future. And to achieve this goal, together with Oleksandr Sychov, throughout the evening they raised funds for the needs of the 66th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Part of the money raised by Anna Korol from the implementation of a new collection, which was also carried out throughout the event, will be directed to these same goals.
