"No war on planet Earth!" - on November 7, a project initiated by our compatriot, honored artist of the arts of Ukraine Oleh Pryhodko was presented in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.  Mykolaiv became the first city in the country to present a virtual forum of fine arts.

"It's no secret that today Ukraine is slowly disappearing from the agenda. And they talk less. Because, Europe is just kind of tired of it. It's as if Europeans are tired of the fact that there is a war going on in Ukraine and it demands a lot of attention. But this cannot be acceptable for us, for Ukrainians. That is why this forum was started, which is designed to attract as many children as possible in different countries of the world. So that they create works, make drawings. They are not necessarily on the topic of war," says the director of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Inha Khorzhevska.

These are the works of children, the younger generation, which is just getting to know the world and learning art in its various forms.

The exhibition, which opened in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi on November 7, consists of drawings of German and Ukrainian children who are forced to stay in Germany. The exposition does not present the original works, but their high-quality printed reproduction.

"By the way, in Germany, two cities have joined this project - Herford and Kircherlengern. Our compatriot, artist Mykola Sopilniak, also runs a children's studio in these cities. And in this exhibition there is a work, a drawing he made. This is a portrait of the mayor of one of the towns," Inha Khorzhevska emphasizes.

Exhibitions of children from France, Belgium, and Portugal will be prepared and presented during the forum. Exhibitions of drawings from Canada, Italy, Australia and America are already being prepared. With the voices of children, the forum will remind the world how important its support is to Ukraine.

"Yes, it is definitely worth paying attention to it. In children's speech, these emotions, impressions from events, from the surrounding environment are really transfered through creativity and art. And this, probably, sometimes sounds louder than all the speeches of politicians", - shares the senior lecturer of the Department of Design of Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University, member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine Olena Trygub.

In Ukraine, exhibitions will take place in schools, universities, kindergartens and other educational and cultural institutions. The final exhibition will be held in the capital's House of Artists. The forum will continue until the end of the war.
