On November 7 in the library library No. 5 of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi, which is in the Lisky district of the regional center, a personal exhibition of the Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, Volodymyr Turovskyi, has opened.

The exposition consists of almost 70 exhibits. These are mainly trays and decorative plates, women's handmade jewelry made by the master. Each of them is a separate, fascinating masterpiece, made with soul and heart.

"I take a tray, a compass and a ruler. And then it just turns out by itself. I don't know how I come up with a picture. I don't dream, actually. It appears when I work. Also, it depends on the mood," the author shares.

The exhibition is dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Day of Culture Workers and Masters of Folk Art. Natalia Hryhortseva, head of the library branch, took the initiative for its organization.

"I saw his works on the Soborna Street. And I liked it. I was even surprised by these works. Because it is handmade, first of all. And if you look closely, each work is a masterpiece. Each stroke is made by hand. And it struck me that a person looks so strict, but works such a miracle," Natalia Hryhortseva says.

Honored artist of Ukraine, volunteer Oleksandr Sychov and leader of the ensemble "Free Cossacks" of the Mykolaiv Regional Philharmonic, winner of the Award "For Services to the Mykolaiv Region" Fedir Sychov gave the author and guests of the exhibition a good mood and the warmth of their hearts.

Volodymyr Turovsky's exhibition will be on display in the library branch until the end of November, so you have time to come and enjoy the art of working with metal.
