Workers of the cultural sector of the hero city of Mykolaiv, as well as young students of many collectives, stand in line and demonstrate unity to the whole of Ukraine in the matter of supporting the Armed Forces.
On the initiative of the honored artist of Ukraine, volunteer Oleksandr Sychov, a team of like-minded people was created, who collect funds for the needs of defenders through concert charity activities. The creative volunteer group includes the folk vocal studio of the Mykolaiv city teacher's house, the folk art collective "Prestige", the modern vocal studio "Golden Voice", the club of fans of Nazarii Yaremchuk's work, groups and performers of the Mykolaiv regional philharmonic.
November 1, together with the Charity Fund "Soldiers of Ukraine" and the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi, they invited townspeople and guests of the regional center to a concert in support of the fighters of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade.
"The community should know that both the mayor and the Department of Culture, with the support of which today's concert is taking place, are with us. We are together! Together we are a force!", - stresses Oleksandr Sychov.
The "Soldiers of Ukraine" Charitable Fund provides ongoing assistance to units that are on the demarcation line and take direct part in hostilities. There is no special selection of groups that need support now and today in the public organization. The appeal of colleagues is processed by the head of the fund, Ruslan Trushkov, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"Basically, the charitable organization is engaged in the purchase of pickup trucks, drones, EWs, optical sights. We are currently collecting for a pickup truck for the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade. This is our Mykolaiv brigade. And that's why it's very important for us today to unite the people of Mykolaiv so that this collection is as successful and effective as possible," says Oksana Karpenko, volunteer lawyer of the "Soldiers of Ukraine!" Charitable Foundation.
As part of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, since the first days of the full-scale invasion of the invaders, friends and good acquaintances of the library staff have been fighting for the territorial integrity and independence of the country. That is why Mykolaiv librarians joined the charity event.
"We invited you to take part in the charitable part of the event if possible. And also to tear away from the fact that today the number of air alarms has been extremely high in recent weeks and months. And we hope that it will contain such an important and spiritual part that will allow you to rest a little and forget about the horrors that have happened to us during the last two and a half years. And on the other hand, show all the generosity and sincerity of your soul," said Inha Khorzhevska, director of the library, opening the charity concert.
During this difficult time, a large number of people devoted themselves to volunteering. They selflessly, each in their own way, help bring Victory closer. With all their strength, and often beyond their strength, unindifferent Ukrainians do incredible things. People of different professions, ages and social status united to support each other and the Ukrainian army.
