This meeting became a real event for our city. On October 15, as part of the travel program "Following Voices", the "Anthology of Military Writers" was presented in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.

Tetiana Pylypets, a volunteer, public figure, director of the Lviv Library named after Roman Ivanychuk told the people of Mykolaiv about her trips to the regions of Ukraine, the collection and its indomitable, heroic authors.

The project was born from the forum of military writers. It lives in Lviv and has already become almost a family history there. The anthology includes the works of 30 authors who are currently at the front, veterans and volunteers. In 2022, they handed over their prose and poetic works to pani Tetiana Pylypets. And this is only a small part of them.

"Before the start of the project, everything started from the South. It all started on the anniversary of the liberation of Kherson. And we did not plan that this project would go so far. The book was supposed to appear from day to day. But in Kherson we already talked about it as a fact. And then I returned to Kyiv and received it already in printed form. And this project began to live. We actually went to the neighbors at first. We traveled through the western regions. We have to close only the issue with Chernivtsi. We will have a separate visit there. And the same with Uzhhorod," says Tetiana Pylypets.
In the geography of travel programs are not only libraries of regional centers. Tetiana Pylypets' team visits institutions with which it is in friendly cooperation. The Charity Fund "Library Country" helps it in this.

"These are librarians who have become shelters. Where many people work who were forced to leave their homes and libraries. That's why these are also our main locations," emphasizes pani Tetiana.

The projects of Tetiana Pylypets and her associates have already managed to become a magnet for talented writers, artists, photographers, and publishers. Seven years ago, she started an artistic movement in the Lviv region, having behind her shoulders the experience of organizing and holding the festival "Kalmius". It comes from Donetsk and Luhansk regions and will definitely return there, emphasizes Tetiana Pylypets.

"I really wanted front-line authors, who more often visited our events in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, I really wanted them to Lviv. Closer to home. Because if combatants came to us, they were still our authors, from our regions. They were given longer vacations and could make more extensive presentations. I wanted to show new, new, new people," pani Tetiana shares.

Oleksandr Tereshchenko, one of the first to join the forum of military writers, was a well-known Mykolaiv journalist, volunteer, cyborg, knight of the Order "For Courage" III degree. Today, they are connected with Tetiana Pylypets by friendly and partnership relations.

"This is our main motivator. Thanks to Sashko, I was able to improve and understand many things in my life. He is thus constantly a barometer of correctness. For our internal barometer. The correctness of how we move. We had an incredible experience working with him and promoting authors from the front in Vilnius, Lithuania. And we work very well in tandem. And I want to admit that it was Oleksandr who showed how this whole story can actually become a family story," recalls with warmth in her voice the director of the Lviv Library named after Roman Ivanychuk.

The people of Kherson have been friends with the Lviv literary club for many years. They were united by the "Book Mykola" festival and the director of the bookstore, the head of the NGO "Knyzhkova toloka" Liubov Khomchak.

"We have developed such a program, where we get to know the work of each writer, each of them was given time. It was there that we met pani Liuba and Tetiana Pylypets. And at that moment, for three years in a row, this "Knyzhkova toloka" was coming to us. To us at "Book Mykola" in December. And we would continue to create. Then Liuba died. But her work continues with inspiration. The forum continues. Writers move on. Tania Pylypets picked up this work. Well, and of course, we got everything intertwined with Tetiana. And some creative events. And then just human ones", - shares Svitlana Dumynska, head of the culture department of the Kherson City Council.

The Mykolaiv meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendly communication. Its participants parted with each other, by agreeing for cooperation and support in the implementation of various artistic ideas and projects.
