"He paints with human emotions", - Viktor Khiznichenko's personal exhibition opened in the library branch No. 8 of the Central city library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.

Here, far outside the city, everyone is touched by a field full of various herbs, the clucking of cranes, close communication with nature. Many of us took steps along the path to a distant unknown world from our hut in the village. The artist Viktor Khiznychenko tells the viewer about everyday rural worries, boundless love for his native land, respect for the traditions of his father's circle in his paintings.

His personal exhibition "Paintings as Life" was opened in the library branch No. 8 of the Central City Library named after M.l. Kropyvnytskyi on October 10. The exposition is dedicated to the Day of an Artist of Ukraine.

"Look at what painting is! Painting is a whole universe. And artists who paint painted canvases, they do not just paint with paints. They paint with human emotions. After all, we approach any picture presented here, and we see, it seems to us, that we have already been near this river. We were sitting on this lawn. We were looking at this boundless Ukrainian sky," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spocusa".

Viktor Khiznychenko writes what is dearest to him. What meets every day. Old houses, slightly crumbling and crooked fences acquire special beauty and charm in his works. This is all his love - his village.

"This is all the warmth of the earth. Our Ukrainian nature. Our rural nature. Unforgettable nature. It is so beautiful", - shares the author of the exhibition.

Viktor Khiznychenko is the initiator and author of the installation of the Votive Cross in the villages of Novokostiantynivka and Ivanivka. He directly participated in the design of the local history museum, kindergarten and children's town "Kazka", his plaster bas-reliefs can be seen in various corners of his native village. For his high professionalism and preservation of Ukrainian culture, Viktor Khiznychenko was awarded the "Pearl of the Mykolaiv Region" honorary award in 2019.

The exhibition "Paintings as Life" will be open in the library branch No. 8 until the end of October.
