Exhibition "September Summer" by artist Luidmila Gatsura is on display for three weeks in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.

With the help of Petrykivka painting, the author opens to the viewer a large colorful world with its symbols, customs and traditions of native country.

And today, October 9, at the initiative of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-spokusa", pani Luidmila held a master class for library readers.

Women created a drawing with the image of a bird. And the craftswoman suggested and corrected their efforts.

Our ancestors painted chests and houses using the Petrykivka painting technique.

At that time, it was widespread everywhere, where buildings were plastered with clay and whitewashed. It was especially used in Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
