The contest, held with the support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine within the framework of the European Maritime Day in My Country 2026 initiative, brought together creative minds to reflect on the blue economy of Mykolaiv — a city whose history, present and future are inextricably linked with water, the sea, and shipbuilding.
The master class was held with the support of the "Vilna" space. A special guest of the event was the famous Mykolaiv artist Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna, who was invited by the "Art-Spokusa" Cultural and Artistic Association.

The event was held with the support of the "Vilna" space. The organizer of the event was Artistic and Cultural Association "Art-Spokusa", which invited talented handmade artisan Pani Vira Zhevner.
The guests of the event had a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Mykolaiv artist Vadym Pustylnyk — an author with a bright and recognizable style that combines irony, satire, attentiveness to details, and a special look at urban everyday life.
The VITRAZH Digital Space is a modern, barrier-free space for innovation, creativity, learning, and new opportunities for the community. It is particularly symbolic that the opening took place during the National Barrier-Free Week.
A creative session called "Vyshyvanochka," dedicated to World Vyshyvanka Day, was held at the library. During the meeting, children learned a lot of interesting and useful information about Ukrainian ornaments, symbolism, traditions, and the unique features of vyshyvanka styles.
The library's art space was filled with bright colors, sincere emotions, and an atmosphere of creativity on this day. The participants of the masterclass enthusiastically created cute decorative compositions with funny little hares.
This is a presentation of a collection by Oleksandr Sychov—Honored Artist of Ukraine, poet, musician, serviceman of military unit 3039 of the National Guard of Ukraine, and a long-time friend of the library.
