Spring is the time of flowering and waiting for something pleasant. It is in the spring when the desire to enjoy the colorful colors and the blossoming of nature awakens more and more.

The theme of flowers in handmade art is practically inexhaustible.

Craftswomen who are in a systematic creative search make flowers from any material. Fabric and paper, beads, plastic and felt, leather are used. Of course, you can draw them, knit and sew, cut and sculpt. The talented craftswoman Vira Zevner invited the regular visitors of the library master classes to try their hand at making flowers from chenille wire.

With its help, they do quite interesting works.

"So, today we are not only engaged in creativity. Today we also develop fine motor skills of our hands. After all, such a wire is very easy to work with. But you need to fully calculate its length. Where to twist it correctly. Where to bend it. A flower is a fragile plant," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the cultural and artistic association "Art-spokusa".

Fluffy wire got its modern development precisely thanks to the ingenuity of handmade craftswomen and needlewomen. This fluffy, flexible stick, was invented in the West and was originally intended for cleaning smoking pipes.

"But do you see how craftswomen use it? To create flowers. Children create various toys. Various products that are then played with. And we are women. We need flowers today. That's why we created a flower mini-bouquet from this wire. It is very easy to use. Because it bends and twists. You can make anything out of it. Whatever you want. According to any scheme," emphasizes craftswoman Vera Zhevner.

Such a hobby does not require large expenses, as well as special skills. This type of free time is suitable for children and adults. Simple needlework relaxes and helps to get away from hustle and bustle, unpleasant memories and emotions at work, at home or on the road. As a result, home decor or funny toys are born.
