This time, paint was applied not with brushes, but with… leaves. Craft paper, gouache, and a wide variety of natural materials were needed for the work.
Leaves of mulberry, walnut, cherry, grape, linden, and other plants were put to use.
Plant printing is an interesting and somewhat unpredictable process, as you never know for sure how the print will turn out. The key here is to think through the composition, choose the colors, and not be afraid to experiment.
The finishing touches gave the works a special character: using a fine brush, participants drew graphic branch lines and enhanced their compositions with decorative dots.
As a result, ordinary leaves transformed into original graphic artworks that can serve as a bright accent in an interior and a wonderful way to express one's creativity.
