In February – April of this year, Marko Kropyvnytskyi Central Library of Mykolaiv, along with its branches, joined the all-Ukrainian charitable campaign to collect documentary evidence of the full-scale war on the Svidok.org website.
Together with the residents of Mykolaiv, the librarians recalled and recorded what they had lived through during the war, as collecting evidence is a part of national remembrance. In this way, together with you, we made our contribution toward the Victory of Ukraine.
For its active participation in the campaign, the library received a BLUETTI AC300 3000W + B500K 5120Wh power station as a gift.
The purchase was funded on his own initiative by James Hodson, the founder of AI for Foundation and the "We Are Power" Charity Foundation, while Maksym Savytskyi, the director of the "We Are Power" Charity Foundation, procured and delivered this valuable equipment to us. We are deeply grateful to the donors!
In the conditions of the full-scale war, such equipment will help the institution establish proper conditions for hosting socio-cultural events, ensure automated user services, and provide free internet access for Mykolaiv residents. The library is designated as a "Point of Invincibility", and the power station will serve the people of Mykolaiv during potential blackouts and power outages.
We express our gratitude to the esteemed organizers of the campaign and thank everyone who has supported and continues to support the library!
