The event was organized by the "Art-spokusa" Cultural and Artistic Association, which invited Hanna Petryk to share her experience and creative secrets.
The session began with an engaging story about the traditional art of vytynanka and the specifics of creating works in the cut graphics technique. The participants learned about the symbolism of ornaments and basic techniques for working with paper.
Each participant chose a contrasting combination of colored paper and cardboard to create her own Easter card.
The core of the composition was the pysanka symbol, decorated with ornaments of spring flowers and butterflies. Under the guidance of the master, the participants carefully cut out elements with scissors, forming a delicate silhouette pattern.
The final stage was the decoration of the works: the cut-out compositions were glued onto cardboard, supplemented with decorative details, and adorned with bright sparkles. As a result, vibrant and unique festive cards emerged.
Such a card will become a warm symbol of wishes for peace, kindness, and light on the eve of Easter.
* The workshop was held with the support of the "Vilna" space.
