During the meeting, participants discussed the phenomena of "information bubbles" and "echo chambers"— states of intellectual isolation that create a distorted perception of reality, restrict access to alternative viewpoints, reinforce biases, and facilitate the spread of fake news.

The following mechanisms of their formation were examined:

- search algorithm filters;

- personalization of search results;

- cognitive biases (the human factor).

Together, we searched for answers to an important question: how to break out of an information bubble?

We discussed practical steps:

- Expanding sources of information;

- Subscribing to diverse viewpoints;

- Managing device settings (using incognito mode, clearing history);

- Developing critical thinking and fact-checking;

- Consciously stepping beyond typical information interests.

The practical part of the training—an exercise titled "My Information Diet"— helped participants analyze their own information environment and see how diverse it truly is.

Together, we are learning to think critically and consume information mindfully.
