The first event of the project was the opening of the art exhibition "A-kvarel" organized in cooperation with the NGO CAA "Art-spokusa."
The goal of the project is to introduce viewers to the talented masters of folk art and artists of Mykolaiv and the region, as well as to discover the diversity of artistic genres, styles, and techniques. All exhibitions are organized in alphabetical order—from letter to letter, from technique to technique.
The "A-kvarel" exposition includes works by:
- Tetianа Uliankina, Merited Master of Folk Art of Ukraine (Mykolaiv);
- Sofiia Pokynboroda, a young artist and student of the "Kat.rina art" studio (Pervomaisk).
In the watercolor works of these authors, the multi-colored nature of painting harmoniously combines with the refined restraint of graphics. Still lifes and floral compositions vividly reveal the subtleties and possibilities of the watercolor technique.
