The master class was held with the support of the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Social Services. The session was conducted by Mykolaiv craftswoman Olha Tarasova, invited by the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa."

Pani Olha is well-versed in the motanka technique, so the participants had the opportunity to learn all the intricacies of this traditional craft.

At the beginning of the session, the participants of the master class learned about the history of the folk doll, its symbolism, and the basics of creation. Only a piece of white natural fabric and white threads were needed for the work. Under the careful guidance of the craftswoman, the participants gradually folded and wrapped the fabric, forming a delicate angel. Satin ribbons helped create the torso and halo, and snow-white swan feathers formed the base for light, airy wings.

Each angel turned out to be special: some chose a festive-snowy palette with gold or silver ribbons, while others added yellow-blue accents and decorated the angel with a trident. After all, the participants believe that such a charm will certainly bring Peace both to the family and to our country.
