This year, the event had a special significance: the text "Fortune-telling on Magnolia" was written by the director, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Inha Khorzhevska, and was dedicated to the library's 125th anniversary.
Over 700 people participated in the dictation, both in the library's reading hall, library branches, and online. They were people of various ages and professions, but all of them were united by one thing - their love for the Ukrainian language.
Among the winners are Natalia Kuprasova, Svitlana Afonina, Olesia Oleksiuk, Viktoria Volyk, Kateryna Honcharenko, Anzhelika Voilokova, Olha Levchuk, Olena Lutsenko, Anastasia Yermak, Svitlana Herasimenko, Oksana Revedynska, Antonina Koveneva.
Deputy Mayor Anatolii Petrov and Head of the Department of Culture and Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Mykolaiv City Council Yurii Liubarov addressed the participants with welcoming remarks. They emphasized that the Mykolaiv Dictation is not only a cultural tradition but also a symbol of community unity and respect for the Ukrainian language.
We also sincerely thank Anastasia Kuznetsova, who became the voice of the dictation, and the professional jury that carefully checked the works.
