"Pomade" — a poetic premiere that touched hearts. Today, an extremely sensual and profound event took place at the Center for Modern Reading "Marko" — a poetic presentation of the debut collection "Pomade" by the young author Kristina Kovalenko.
The 20-year-old poet from Mykolaiv was sharing her words with a wide audience for the first time. She began writing at the age of 11, and today her voice is a reflection of a generation learning to be strong in times of change.
"Pomade" is not just a book. It is the traces of first love, the scars of loss, the ups of dreams, and the tenderness of a young heart that is learning to be itself.
The event was filled with a special atmosphere of sincerity, feminine strength, emotion, and inspiration.
The guests listened to poetry that spoke to every girl in the room, and at the same time, to everyone who values authenticity.
This event was implemented in partnership with the "Children's Voices" Charitable Foundation and the M. L. Kropyvnytskyi Central City Library, which together create a space for young voices and living stories.
Thank you to Kristina Kovalenko for her courage to speak out loud, and to all present for their open hearts.
Words truly heal. See you in rhymes and the silence that speaks!
