On May 20, the grand opening of the personal exhibition “Pearls of the Southern Region” by the talented Mykolaiv artist, member of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Spokusa” Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna took place in the library-branch No. 12 of the Central Library named after M. L. Kropyvnytskyi.

The artist presented a series of works inspired by Tavria painting, shared the story of her creative path, achievements, and creative plans.

The real highlight of the exhibition were the unique author's motanka dolls from the "Tavria Angels" series - the only ones in Ukraine. Their energy and symbolism aroused lively interest among visitors.

Pani Svitlana also demonstrated exclusive scarves created on the base of her own paintings. This synthesis of painting and textiles aroused sincere admiration and became an impetus for an active discussion of artistic techniques and images.

Special attention was drawn to the author's Tavria vyshyvanka, which the artist created herself and proudly presented at the event.

The blue wave of blue-eyed Tavria, reinterpreted through the prism of Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna's work, captivated the hearts of readers and guests of the library.

We sincerely congratulate Svitlana Boikova-Kaliuzhna on the opening of the exhibition!

We wish you new achievements and inspiration!
