Among the donated publications are the collections "Far Blue Distance", "Volunteer Stories. 2014-2022" and the novel "Oscar".

The prose collection "Far Blue Distance" tells the story of a person's difficult choice in overcoming life's adversities and obstacles.

Two more donated books are dedicated to war themes. "Volunteer Stories. 2014-2022" was written on behalf of a volunteer who had to evacuate from Kharkiv, continuing her activities. For this book as the best publication of short prose, pani Liudmila was awarded the title of laureate of the Mykola Tomenko Prize.

The novel "Oscar" is the story of a Ukrainian intelligence officer with the call sign "Oscar", a Crimean Tatar, who was captured in early 2015 and escaped on his own. For this book, the author received a special award at the 2021 International Literary Competition "Coronation of the Word".

Mykolaiv residents had the opportunity to hear about these and other works from Liudmila Okhrimenko, who paid a creative visit to our library in early April.

We sincerely thank pani Liudmila for the gifts!
