"Tender March" - the second vernisage as part of the art project "Seasons of the Year", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the institution's founding, began its work at the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi.
At the exhibition, six talented compatriots – craftswomen of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Art-Spokusa” – share their creativity with the audience. Tetiana Veremienko, Svitlana Boikova – Kaliuzhna, Lesia Saikovska, Tetiana Uliankina, Iryna Hurska and Alla Bondareva presented their own unique view of the tender, enchanted beauty of the first spring month.
"They are all talented. Mykolaiv and the region know all these names. So, it's up to the viewers to look at "Tender March"," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".
Walking through the exhibition, guests immerse themselves in an ocean of delicate, tender first spring flowers. Each author's works contain an inexhaustible source of inspiration, depth and strength of the female soul. Three of them are made by Iryna Hurska.
She has been embroidering with ribbons for over twenty years. It all started with a parcel from abroad.
"A calendar. And my husband was translating for me from English how to make these ribbons. There weren't photographs. There were drawings. And then I got so carried away that I started buying literature at that time. Ordering it. Literature that was available to us," the craftswoman recalls.
Later, the woman passed on her love for this form of art to her students. The children even won prizes at all-Ukrainian competitions.
Andrii Kryvoruchko, director of children's music school No. 8 and conductor of the pop symphony orchestra, told the audience how to welcome the first days of spring in the right mood with the sounds of a guitar during the opening of the exhibition.
Everyone will be able to enjoy the beauty of "Tender March" at the M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Central City Library for the next month and a half.
