The undisputed symbol of Christmas, which Ukrainians will celebrate next week, is the Christmas angel. In our country, angels have long been made for this holiday. They were cut out of paper, glued to windows and attached to a garland by a string. They were used to decorate the Christmas tree and given as gifts to loved ones.

So that the Guardian Angels would protect families from evil and darkness with their gentle wings throughout the next 2025, the craftswomen of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusaa" led by Valentyna Kryvtsova invited regular readers of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytsky to make a real amulet with their own hands.

"Today we are making a very beautiful toy. This is small plastic from air plasticine. And this is an Angel. After all, very soo in every home the words will be heard: "Christ is born! Let us glorify him!". This is a wonderful holiday for both children and adults. For the whole family. So, wish you such a Christmas tree decoration finds its place in every family. Wish you that the Angel brings each of us a feeling of happiness, peace, Victory, hope and love. So that every Ukrainian family is happy, prosperous, free from all kinds of troubles, with such wishes today we are making such an Angel," emphasizes Valentyna Volodymyrivna.

Such a decoration, says Vira Zhevner, a trainer and craftswoman of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa", will look easy in any home. As if reminding us that Angels are heavenly creatures.

"That's why today we will make our amulets - Angels on a string from air plasticine. Or it is also called light plasticine. Or more often professionals call it moduline. Because you can model anything from it," notes pani Vira.

The person or family to whom you address such a warm gift will definitely feel your love and appreciate your efforts. After all, gifts made by yourself literally glow from within.
