On November 14, the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa" made sure that a festive melody began to sound in the hearts and souls of regular visitors of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytsky. Valentyna Kryvtsova and craftswoman Vira Zhevner applied creative efforts to create a festive mood in the young ladies. They suggested that women brighten up the anticipation of the holidays by making their own New Year and Christmas cards.
"We are entering the Christmas and New Year's cycle. We will make candlesticks, cards, and Christmas tree decorations. So, today we are starting by making a Christmas card. This is a holiday card that will be a wish of peace, happiness, and prosperity for all friends and relatives. We wish you new impressions, only pleasant impressions," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".
Many of us don't even realize that unique, exciting gifts for a loved one can be made from what is found at home, prepared just in case by a thoughtful hostess or host somewhere in a drawer.
"You can of course buy cards in a store. But, nevertheless, you can make them with your own hands in a non-trivial way. And give them to the person you really respect and love. Today we used both paper and felt in our work. Felt for me is associated primarily with the New Year. It is so soft, bright, fluffy, pleasant. These are New Year's felt toys, these are New Year's felt Christmas tree toys, children's toys. So, we used felt in our work. And our card became more similar to the New Year's one - bright and festive," notes the craftswoman of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".
Through gifts, we convey not only our tenderness and care. We also demonstrate the sincerity of our feelings to our relatives, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues. And it is not at all necessary to give an expensive gift, because the main thing at this moment is attention.
