Ukrainians have been decorating fabric for a long time. One of the oldest ways of decorating clothes is printing. With the help of specially carved wooden stamps a pattern is applied. This technology spread over the territory of modern Ukraine about a thousand years ago.

At first, clothes were decorated with printing at home, and later craft workshops were engaged in it.

On September 19, regular visitors of master classes, readers of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi, had an exclusive opportunity to express themselves through creativity, making stylish accessories with their own hands. They were inspired by the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-spokusa" and trainer-master Vira Zhevner.

Each participant independently chose the elements and combined them into an interesting composition thanks to pani Vira's large selection of stamps.

The process of the master class is extremely exciting. As a result, things appear that can be both wonderful gifts and indispensable everyday household attributes.

In general, printing is an ideal option for a group of craftswomen or masters. It will be especially interesting for those who do not have very good drawing skills. For this it is enough to have a developed imagination.
