We remind you that the network of Digital Education Hubs in Ukraine was created in 2020, after the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the NGO Ukrainian Library Association.

 

Today, there are significant changes in the activities of libraries, traditional functions are enriched and new ones appear, libraries are transformed into digital hubs, the role of librarians in the development of digital skills of the population is increasing.  Only a true professional can effectively implement the mission of the library as a space for learning, possessing deep professional knowledge, computer technologies, and who is capable of creativity and non-standard solutions.

 

A team of such professionals has formed for many years of activity in the field of training the population in computer and information literacy in the Central city library after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi and its branches. During the event, all of them heard about the new capabilities of Digital Education Нubs, current requirements for the digital competencies of employees, modern tools for more effective work with the needs of library users.

 

They tested their knowledge of media literacy during an online quiz. They got acquainted with the wide possibilities of the national educational platform "Action. Education" and the presentation of the new educational course "Basics of Mobile Technologies".
