Thanks to the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa", all those willing had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the true mystery of national Pysankarstvo (Easter egg painting).

Ukrainian defenders (men and women) were among the first to try themselves in this amazing form of art and culture. The military servicemen and servicewomen were helped to master it with the help of the best pysankarka (master on Easter egg painting) of the Mykolaiv Oblast, honored master of folk art of Ukraine, Tetiana Uliankina.

"This master class is dedicated to the traditions of Easter egg painting, their history. We study history, find out what these or other symbols mean, what a particular color means. We create traditional pysankas (Easter Eggs)," says Valentyna Kryvtsova, head of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spocusa" .

Pani Olesia, a Ukrainian military servicewoman, is painting Easter eggs not for the first time. Even in her childhood, her mother brought her to the school on Easter egg painting. Later, while obtaining a higher education, she was a participant in thematic classes and events.

"Now this is my third time I paint Easter eggs. And for sure, now I am at a more conscious age with certain desires and understanding that I want to paint. And why will I keep this Pysanka? If I had more free time, I think I would do it so for 100%. Or just on weekends in my free time. But I will definitely tell my relatives about it. I will come home, show and tell about it. And I think that we will try, because I also have pens at home from previous years. And I think that we will all try together", - shares the Ukrainian defender.

A symbol of revival, love and hope, without which it is impossible to imagine the Easter holiday, a carrier of unique traditions and information. Accordingly, Ukrainian Easter eggs reflect the history of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Next to the ancient signs of the ancestors, there are modern ones that have extraordinary artistic value.

The works of servicemen were imbued with patriotism.

"Today, the defenders of Ukraine are at their best everywhere. And they also proved it in Easter egg painting, that this type of art is within their power. They made very wonderful Pysanky. We tried to make ancient ones. But everyone contributed their author's idea. We also see tridents appearing in the middle of our ancient crosses, quarrels, and stars. I am very glad that we put all these symbols on the egg, which is a component of Ukrainian magic and a talisman. And now we believe that everything will be fine! Together to Victory! And Pysanky will definitely help us in this, too", - noted the honored master of folk art of Ukraine Tetiana Uliankina.
