On September 3, the personal exhibition of Tetiana Veremienko, a master of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusа," opened at the Library branch No. 8 of the M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Central City Library.
The master class was held with the support of the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Social Services and was conducted by the talented Mykolaiv craftswoman Olha Tarasova.
The topic of the meeting was "Fairy Tales — the Foundation of the Nation's Mentality." Together with the city's youth, they discussed the importance of fairy tales in shaping their worldview, values, and national identity.
After a bright summer, we met again in our artistic family. And this time, the library became a fairy-tale space, where the little artists presented their exhibition "Mysteries of the Opishnia Forest."
This year, the event had a special significance: the text "Fortune-telling on Magnolia" was written by the director, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Inha Khorzhevska, and was dedicated to the library's 125th anniversary.
Today, our library's art location was covered with real cat mania! First, we learned about the history of the toy, and then we got to work.
Pani Svitlana shared her sincere and deep poems, talked about life in Canada and her strong spiritual connection with her native Mykolaiv, as well as about her many years of friendship and joint translation work with Dmytro Kremin.
On August 21, we celebrate the birthday of Dmytro Kremin (1953–2019) — a famous Mykolaiv resident, Honored Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, poet, publicist, teacher, and translator.
