On April 11 at 2:00 p.m., we invite everyone to the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi for a creative meeting-exhibition "Poetic Pysanky" with Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Tetiana Uliankina.

Tetiana Uliankina is a pysanka artist of Mykolaiv, a member of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, and the Cultural and Artistic Association "Art-Spokusa".

During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation of Ukraine, with the aim of reviving and preserving Ukrainian cultural heritage, she created a new collection of author's Easter Eggs (pysanky). Each pysanka is accompanied by the artist's poems-reflections, the plot of which is encoded in the signs-symbols of the amulet ornaments. In the patterns, the author vividly and figuratively conveys her reflections on the eternal themes of the universe.

The main theme of Tetiana Uliankina's original pysanka art is the image of free Ukraine and indomitable people. In poems and symbols, she glorifies the Heroes who bravely fight for Ukraine's right to live in peace and harmony.

During the meeting, you will look into the ancient world of traditions, understand the meaning of pysanka's ornaments, vividly reflected in the author's poetic lines, see Easter crafts and experience the magic of their creation.
