On Saturday, January 15, a charity master class on making a textile angel took place in the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi .

All funds raised that day in the amount of more than two thousand hryvnias were transferred to the family of the little Mykolaiv resident Dmytro Zhadan. Doctors diagnosed the boy with a terrible rare genetic disease - spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). He needs an injection worth 2 million euros.

Both adults and children worked in the reading room of the library, which turned into a charity workshop for one day.

Master volunteer Iryna Zarovna provided all the necessary materials for the holiday toy - fabric and filler. The cost of the charitable donation was 200 hryvnias. While the participants were creating toy masterpieces, a library reader, who wished to remain anonymous, donated 1,000 hryvnias to Dmytro Zhadan's family.

In memory of today's good deed, the participants of the master class took textile angels with them, which would definitely become a decoration of home or workplace.

Anyone who wants to help Dmytro can transfer funds to the card:
