Dear friends! On the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi announces collection of memories of events 2013-2014 in Mykolaiv «Mykolaiv Euromaidan: how it happened».

In turbulent days of Revolution of Dignity in Mykolaiv supporters of the European integration course of Ukraine organized the action «Mykolaiv supports the EU», which gathered a considerable number of citizens. Thus, the Mykolaiv Euromaidan was formed.

We plan to record evidence of these events in the format of oral histories from those who were directly involved in the confrontation in Mykolaiv, those who went then to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression in the east of the country, who became a volunteer and helped our defenders to survive. All materials will be transferred to the Archive of Oral History of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.

Work on the creation of the audio archive begins on February 2022 for the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.

Registration by phone 0939012475 (Pysmenna Inna); 0677501362 (Moskaliov Pavlo).

We offer participants of the Mykolaiv Euromaidan to join memories.

It depends on you what history of modern Ukraine will be inherited by our children!
